On their way to Man Utd? No place for James & Morata in Real Madrid's kit launchThe Colombia play-maker and the Spain striker did not feature as Los Blancos unveiled their 2017-18 strip and seem set to leave the club this summer

James Rodriguez and Alvaro Morata look a step closer to a Real Madrid exit this summer after both players were left out of the club's new kit launch on Wednesday.

Real Madrid show off new kit for 2017-18
Madrid unveiled their new strip in images featuring a number of Adidas athletes, including Gareth Bale, Marcelo, Toni Kroos, Sergio Ramos, Karim Benzema, Zinedine Zidane and even Nacho.
But there was no sign of James or Morata, even though both of those players are also under contract with the German sports brand.
Morata is wanted by both Manchester United and AC Milan this summer, while James is interesting a number of Europe's elite clubs, including the Red Devils.
Real return to action in the UEFA Super Cup against United on August 8, a fixture that could see Los Blancos face both Morata and James if the two players link up at Old Trafford this summer.
Asked about his future and also that of James ahead of Spain's friendly against Colombia last week, Morata said: "Who knows, maybe we'll be team-mates next year."

What UN, Nigerian govt are doing to tackle 11 million out-of-school children

Children selling on Abuja-Jos highway, Nigeria.
A former British Prime Minister, Gordon Brown, says the destructive activities of Boko Haram contributed to the estimated 11 million out-of-school children in Nigeria, particularly in the north-east.
The Boko Haram insurgency has caused about 100,000 deaths since 2009 and displaced millions, particularly in the north-east states of Adamawa, Borno, and Yobe.
Mr. Brown, the UN Special Envoy for Global Education, told the Correspondent of the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, in New York that his commission was already intervening in the situation.
The UN envoy, who chairs the Commission on Financing Education Opportunity, explained that the commission was giving more funds to help the Nigerian education system move forward.
According to him, the commission and Acting President Yemi Osinbajo are already discussing ways to secure global funds to address the education challenges confronting the north-east.
“We think there are probably around 11 million children that are not in school. We know that the Boko Haram attacks remained a huge problem and the terrain too.
“These have prevented girls, particularly, from going to school and we know that there have been many abductions.
“And they are still tragically many of the girls that were kidnapped from Chibok that have not returned,” Mr. Brown said.
The former British premier, however, said his commission wanted every child to be safe at school, adding there is a new proposal to attract resources to fund the project.
The envoy lauded the $30 million Nigeria’s Safe Schools Initiative launched in April 2014, describing it as a novel idea.
“We want every girl to be safe and particularly girls but also boys and girls to be safe when they go to school.
“The Safe Schools Initiative is designed to help fortify the schools and also help the telecommunications between the schools and prevent the attacks.
“This is so people can get advanced warnings and to give people the security that there might be some better protection in case there was an attack.
“So, the Safe School Initiative has been something that other countries adopted since Nigeria led the way.
“The Safe Schools Initiative is being implemented in different parts of the world but obviously we need more resources into the Nigerian system and that’s what this new proposal is about.”
Mr. Brown said ground-breaking International Finance Facility for Education could make it possible to fully finance universal education by 2020 and unlock Sustainable Development Goals.
The UN global education envoy commended the UN and the international donors and partners for efforts to raise multilateral education aid to low-income countries from current $1.6 billion to over $4 billion dollars a year by 2020.
“This up-front investment in education, modeled on the proposals of Amina Mohammed, Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations, to convert billions into trillions.
“It can ensure the delivery of our Sustainable Development Goal promises. Indeed, an International Finance Facility for Education will not only create more educational opportunity than ever before.

“It will multiply job prospects, slow population growth, reduce infant and maternal mortality and hasten a 70 per cent increase in GDP per head by 2050.
“And for the millions of children presently locked out of an education, it will be a jolt of hope,” Mr. Brown said.
Mr. Brown’s comment comes two days after Senate President Bukola Saraki described the large number of out-of-school children in Nigeria as a “sitting time bomb.”
“Additionally, these children could constitute the next generation of suicide bombers and militants. In this regard, education is a national security priority,” Mr. Saraki said.

How to Rock Straight Eyebrows Like Kendall Jenner

There's a new eyebrow trend in town
If you haven't noticed celebs like Kendall Jenner and Victoria Beckham rocking unarched eyebrows, don't fret—it's meant to be subtle. Eyebrows play a supporting role on the face. They help to frame and highlight your features, creating more symmetry and bringing attention to your makeup. Straight brows, also known as angled brows, give your face a bit of a lift, promising a youthful, boyish look.
The best part: It's easy to recreate! With help from brow expert Jared Bailey from Benefit Cosmetics, we've broken down the style into simple steps, so you can rock the look today.

ESC: Kendall Jenner
Pro tip: Before you place any product on your eyebrows, test the product on your hand so you know just how much is on the brush. This will prevent having to blend excess products and save time.

Step 1: Using a spoolie, brush the hairs slightly downward to cover the exposed brow bone.
Step 2: Using a cream gel (like Benefit Kabrow Eyebrow Cream Color), straighten the arch of your brow with a solid fluid line along the base of the brow using the orbital bone as the guide.
Step 3: Push the brow gel upward through the brow hairs in the direction of your hair's growth.
Step 4: Comb a subtle hair highlighter, such as the Pixi by Petra Eyebrow Enhancer, through the brows to give it dimension and a natural look.

                                                                    Say hello to better brows!

Black Panther's First Trailer Is Here

             Bow down to T'Challa!

Black Panther, Chadwick Boseman
ABC premiered the first teaser trailer for Marvel Studios' Black Panther during Game 4 of the NBA Finals between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors. The sneak peek gave fans their first look at the blockbuster before the movie claws its way into theaters on Feb. 16, 2018.
"Black Panther follows T'Challa who, after the death of his father, the King of Wakanda, returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation to succeed to the throne and take his rightful place as king. But when a powerful old enemy reappears, T'Challa's mettle as king—and Black Panther—is tested when he is drawn into a formidable conflict that puts the fate of Wakanda and the entire world at risk," Marvel Studios said in a press release. "Faced with treachery and danger, the young king must rally his allies and release the full power of Black Panther to defeat his foes and secure the safety of his people and their way of life."
Chadwick Boseman returns in the role of T'Challa/Black Panther; the character made his onscreen debut last year in Captain America: Civil War, where he initially went head-to-head with Captain America (Chris Evans) and other heroes, only to realize they're on the same side.

2. Black Panther Has Been in Development Since 1992
Wesley Snipes announced his intention to develop and star in a movie based on the comic book character 25 years ago. Various delays, ranging from script issues to Snipes' involvement in the Blade series, plagued the project until it was shelved indefinitely. At long last, in October 2014, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige announced Black Panther would be released on Nov. 3, 2017, with Boseman in the leading role; the release date was later pushed back three months.
3. The Movie Is Set in the Fictional Nation of Wakanda
Good luck finding Wakanda on a map—it doesn't exist. To the uninitiated, the imagined African nation was created in 1966 along with the titular character. Principal production on the movie began on Jan. 21, 2017 at EUE/Screen Gems Studios and Pinewood Atlanta Studios. Additional filming took place throughout South Korea. Filming ended after three months on Apr. 19, 2017.

Marvel Studios has several films in the pipeline after Black Panther and Avengers: Infinity War, including Ant-Man and the Wasp (July 6, 2018), Captain Marvel (March 8, 2019) and an untitled Avengers film (May 3, 2019). Once Phase Three is over, two other movies—Spider-Man: Homecoming 2 (July 5, 2019) and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (TBA)—have been announced. Beyond that, the film studio has not announced which—if any!—of its franchises will continue.
